What a great night! We drove out to the Maryhill Winery (2 hours out of Portland overlooking the Gorge) to see BBKing in concert. It was pretty amazing. At 82, he's still shredding, and is the total entertainer. He told some awesome stories between songs. He even did a U2 cover! It was funny hearing him take pride in the fact that "U2 wrote 'When Love Comes to Town' for me." Good stuff. We took Bob for his birthday, and the whole family got to go (including Uncle Jim!... sadly, Uncle Bill was a late minute scratch; he wasn't feeling too well). We had pretty great seats in the reserved section, but we were able to sneak up even closer, and I snapped some nice pics. Enjoy.
