Quest for a Smile
So, I finally captured a good one. What do you think?
This picture didn't exactly come easily. I've been trying to get her smiling for a while know. I thought I'd let you in on my quest for a smile. All these pictures came either moments before or after a smile. You may appreciate the many faces/emotions of our little expressive cutie.

One Month Old!
It is true, we are in shock that our little girl is already one month old! I think the fact that we were in the hospital for a week makes it feel like she is only 2 weeks old... but we are also going on little sleep... so that might be another indicator. Anyhow, here is a fun little video we took of Audrey after her bath. She is going to be a talker... I wonder where she gets that from? Ha Ha!

The Drama of Bathtime
Snapped a couple of pictures of Audrey round about bathtime, just so you can enjoy the progression. We got a video as well... I'll see if Shatrine can post them later.
Audrey isn't quite sure what to make of all this activity. "Mommy's in the bathroom running the water, and Daddy is cooing and changing my clothes. Hmmm... something's fishy."
"Yea. I REALLY don't like this bath stuff."
"Oh wait. That's not so bad. Warm soft towel. Yea."
"Who's that clean, good-looking thing." Ahhh... our narcissistic dumpling. She just loves looking at herself.

3 Weeks Old...
Hey everyone, it is Shatrine. I am sure some of you thought I had forgotten how to use the computer, but it is not so. Things have been a little busy around here to say the least. Glenn went back to work on January 3rd and I have been jumping into the mommy role while trying to get back into my full-time job too. But I have had to take it a bit slower than I had planned, to make it short and sweet, I ended up getting an infection from my incision the day after Glenn went back to work! How is that for timing? But thank the Lord for my Mom! She has been a lifesaver, she was able to stay home in the mornings and help me out for a few hours. Now that my friends is priceless!
So without further ado, here are 2 pictures of Audrey at three weeks. BTW the cookie bouquet was an awesome gift from my bosses, I think she liked it... don't you?

More Family Visitors
On Friday, we had Aunt Melba and Uncle Edward (Marilyn's oldest brother) come to visit Audrey.
Then Lori and Brit Jud (Shatrine's Cousin) came with the fam. Phoebe and Naomi had a blast passing around the baby.
Even Ethan got a chance to hold her.
Of course, Johnny enjoyed the company too. He had the most fun playing with Isaac (Brit & Lori's youngest). He had his first taste of learning which toys are his and which ones are not. He played so well with them, I'm proud of him!
