We lost a great man this Christmas, my Uncle Stan. Through the snow and ice we made it over to the coast for his funeral. It was a hard day but it brought family together to remember him and that in itself was a precious time.

Music Girl
So, my phone doesn't get the greatest quality video footage, but I get to capture fun moments like this one. I just discovered my phone uploads to youtube, so we'll check it out here.

Crazy Chewer
So, I come home to feed Audrey, and discover her making this hilarious face. I had to whip out my phone and take a picture to show Shatrine. When Shatrine comes home, I discover where Audrey learned to do this. It truly is a comical sight to see Shatrine and Audrey exchange this face with each other. (It's Shatrine's way of teaching her to chew her food!)

Swiss Baking At Its Best!
On Sunday, my Mom, Aunt Verna, Audrey and I all went up to Olympia Washington to my cousin Dawn's house. She has a brand new kitchen so we decided to break it in by baking some Swiss holiday treats. Wow were they yummy! And we had so much fun. Here is a group shot of all of us and some "artistic" shots of the tools we use to make these family recipes.

New Things
So just a few "new" things to mention today. Audrey has 3 teeth now. And she loves these teething bars... she makes quite a mess as you can see but I just can't refuse! And she just LOVE teddy bears and any sort of dolls, so you can see why she has such a big grin as she is holding up her Dodger bear. Enjoy!

The Krake Klassik
Glenn's 30th birthday was earlier this month and so we planned a Disc Golf tournament to celebrate, hence the reason for the name "The Krake Klassik." Fun was had, disc were thrown and Glenn's team came out with the victory. So it was a good day for my hubby! Here are some fun pics for you to see (thanks Holly). Enjoy!

what's new...
Well folks, the time has come. Not only does Audrey have 2 teeth but she is chattering up a storm and taken at least 4-5 steps on her own. How could this be, since she is only 9 months? All I have to say is like mother, like daughter. :) Here is a quick picture of what a saw the other morning when I came to "wake up" my little girl. Who knew a musical turtle could invoke such delight...

update on say a prayer
I just wanted to share these links they are from Clay's (Weston's dad) blog. If you have a moment to read them, say a prayer for them and then hug all those you love.

say a prayer...
As most of you know I was in Texas for quite a few years. In the first few years I lived there I got to meet a great couple, Clay and Erin. This last Tuesday they lost their 21 month old boy, Weston. It is a heartbreaking tragedy and I ask that you please cover them in prayer they desperately need it.
Thanks so much - Shatrine

Audrey does the Truffle Shuffle
Oma came to visit and She, Audrey and I went to the coast on a little "Goonie Pilgrimmage." We went to see Mikey's house from the film, and Audrey was all caught up in the spirit of the film, and decided to do her own rendition of Chunk's infamous "Truffle Shuffle."

Peek a Boo
We were just enjoying root beer floats on our new (to us) patio furniture, and Audrey just started this peek-a-boo thing on her own.
Anniversary
For our 5th Anniversary, Grammy watched Audrey and Shatrine and I got to go to a nice dinner at the Amadeus Manor in Milwuakie, OR. Check out the website; it's a pretty impressive place. I had the best steak of my life. I don't think I'm exagerrating either. It was a filet de oscar (crab and gorgonzolla topping); incredible.
